Clegwell & Hartleyburn Community Hub (CIO) Would like to give a big thank you to Dame Margaret Barbour, Mrs Harvey and the Trustees from the Barbour Foundation for their generous Donation to Clegwell & Hartleyburn Community Hub.
The Trustees and Management are celebrating after being awarded a donation of £10,000 from the Barbour Foundation.
Clegwell & Hartleyburn Community Hubs, based in Hebburn, South Tyneside, will use the donation to support with the costs of the modular building (Youth Hut), which will built on Clegwell site to support Young People from the community to access positive youth activities and more.
Clegwell & Hartleyburn Community Hubs (CIO) have been running independently as a Charity since 2017.
Chair, Liz McHugh, says: “We’re delighted that the Barbour Foundation has recognised our work in this way. Now, thanks Dame Margaret Barbour, Mrs Harvey and the Trustees we can progress with the building of the modular building (Youth Hut) and will be able support a safe place for young people to attend and engage in positive activities and issue based work.
