The Sir James Knott Trust “Grant Support”.

Clegwell & Hartleyburn Community Hub (CIO) Would like to give a big thank you to The Sir James Knott Trust,  for their very generous Grant to Clegwell & Hartleyburn Community Hub.

The Trustees and Management are celebrating after being awarded a grant of £20,000 from the Sir James Knott Trust.

Clegwell & Hartleyburn Community Hubs, based in Hebburn, South Tyneside, will use the grant to support with the costs of the modular building (Youth Hut), which will built on Clegwell site to support Young People from the community to access positive youth activities.

Chair, Liz McHugh, says: “We’re delighted with the news of being awarded £20,000.00 from the Sir James Knott trust, it shows they are very interested in supporting the work we do. Now, thanks to the Sir James Knott Trust we can progress to the next steps with the building (Youth Hut) and will be able support a safe place for young people to attend and engage in positive activities and issue based work.

 

Clegwell & Hartleyburn Community Hubs (CIO) have been running independently as a Charity since 2017.
